The remedy to comparison and feeling like everyone else has it figured out but you.

I'm so excited to feature one of my mentors and greatest supports through my career transition to becoming a therapist.

Kathy Henry is extremely passionate about helping people and has worked as a counselor since 2005. In 2003, she left a successful career in Human Resources Management to pursue her Masters Degree in Social Work.

With the combined careers, coupled with her own recovery and life experience, Kathy has had the great fortune to be able to see many of the issues she writes about from both sides. This gives Kathy a unique combination of skills on many issues including shame, abandonment, marital and relationship difficulties, depression and suicide ideation, codependency, perfectionism, procrastination, spirituality, sexuality, food addiction, negative body image, domestic violence/verbal abuse, job change/stress/loss, and work/life balance. She has an empathetic ear for many issues since she has been through her own recovery and tells her clients, “I am not here to judge you.”
